I went to bring in Cracker this afternoon from the field and as we were coming out of the gate of his field, he decided that he should go find some grass so got away from me, almost knocked me over and played hard to catch until a patch of grass got his attention. At time like this I wonder why I am doing this! It had been a while since he did this! :D OH thinks I should wrap his leadrope around his nose while leading him.

Brigitte get yourself a monty roberts be nice headcollar thing, the rope is already over the nose and you have far more chance of stopping him, it has a ring underneath too so you can use that one to tie him up or when he's behaving
It worked wonders on Branigan :D

Martin likes the rope-over-nose trick and it really is effective. They all have their one-off naughtiness.
